Campaign Support

A "write in" campaign has been sprung up in Minnesota to elect Anthony Price to the position of United States Senator.

The SteLuTec Foundation is proud to announce its support for this campaign and this candidate.

A write in campaign requires the winner to have all voters who vote for him or her to actually write their name in the ballot under the names of the published nominees. So, find Norm Coleman, Al Franken, and Mike Ciresi on the ballot, then go to the space just below those names and write in Anthony Price.

The Gross National Debt

The Economy: Anthony Price would like to meet the person who went to a bank and said, "my business is failing, can I have a bailout of $1,000.00 please?" and had the bank say, "OK."

Neither should we be bailing out any banks.

The cure for our nation's economy is to put the economy back into the hands of the people and OUT of the hands of banks. This particular issue is far too deep for these short pages here, but Anthony Price has a plan. And if you are worried about that huge number you see getting bigger and bigger above this paragraph, Anthony Price is the answer for which you have been waiting.

The economy knows full well how to take care of itself. Our current legislature performed a bailout exceeding numbers most Americans can even comprehend. This bill should never have passed, and Anthony Price will work to stop it from continuing. The big bank bailout will forever be a wound and a precedent this country, or any country, can ill afford. The banks should have been allowed to fail, and the people who were profiting by their failure should be held accountable to those whose money was lost. No other business, that of Anthony Price included, would ever expect the government to pass a law mandating taxpayers to shore up its accounts, and these banks should not get one either. These banks have assets. The assets should be sold, and the banks go away, just like any other business that fails. Anthony Price believes this bailout was wrong, and unconstitutional.

The War In Iraq: As a four year veteran of the world's largest nuclear navy, Anthony Price has a keen understanding of what is actually happening in the war. The bottom line for this or any other war is: enough people are dead. Anthony Price will work to bring our brave fighting men and women home as quickly as possible while not sacrificing honor.

The Right To Life: Ask a corn farmer when a seed becomes a corn plant, and he will tell you it happens when the seed hits the ground. He will not tell you "that's above my pay grade" as the democratic presidential nominee has said. Anthony Price believes that FIFTY MILLION innocent lives lost in thirty five years is enough. Out of 50,000,000 victims, how many were geniuses who could solve the war or the economic downturn, not to mention the labor shortage that is rampant in the United States?

Campaign Promises:

1. Anthony Price will listen. Phone numbers and addresses are posted on this and other websites for personal contact with the candidate. Anthony Price believes that the size of our federal government is so great that it is no longer possible to govern the way it was meant to work by the founding fathers. If you do not want something in your government that is there, chances are, neither does Anthony Price.

2. Anthony Price will protect your money! Anthony Price does not promise fiscal responsibility; anyone can do that. It doesn't mean anything. Anthony Price says, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it; if you don't need it, don't buy it; and if you can't afford it, you don't get it." Your money will not be spent just because it's there. There has only been one president who managed not only to balance the budget, but pay off the national debt. If you want to know which one, look on a twenty dollar bill (if you can find one). A balanced budget is not enough; we must work to eliminate our debt, just like every American must. Like Andrew Jackson did. (PS. his methods are still available to us today, even though it has been 173 years.)

3. Anthony Price will propose bills to the legislature that will end the killing of innocent Americans every day that the senate is in session.

4. Anthony Price will work to end big business whenever it gets too big, and end big government, which is already too big. Neither the government nor any business should have a monopoly.

5. Anthony Price is a registered republican in the state of Minnesota, but does not seek endorsement by any political party. Neither will Anthony Price ever seek endorsement by any political party; not even at the end of the term. If the people of Minnesota wish for a second term, they will be tasked with writing in the name again.

6. Anthony Price will not accept any money from any person or organization for any reason, excepting contributions to the campaign in amounts no larger than $100.00. By clicking the DONATE button here, you may contribute to the campaign. Amounts larger than $100.00 will have that amount subtracted and the balance returned. Thank you for your support!

7. Anthony Price will donate 95% of his salary as a US Senator to charity for the duration of the term. This position will be accepted because it needs him; and not because he needs it.

8. Anthony Price will use human dignity as a rule above all else in the decision making process. If it is not good for humans, Anthony Price will vote against it.

9. Anthony Price has a strong working knowledge of American history, and is working toward a teaching license for that subject. It is said that those who cannot remember history are destined to repeat it. Anthony Price remembers. Most important, Anthony Price remembers the words of Abraham Lincoln (whose picture is found on a five dollar bill) which are printed above this list.

10. Anthony Price will do what is right, even if he has to do it alone.
