  1. Enter as often as you like.
  2. All video and audio recording will be sole property of the Contest.
  3. Winners will be announced September 10th 2011, at a venue to be announced.
  4. Top ten singers, based on vote count, may be asked to perform their selected song at the grand finale party on September 10, 2011.
  5. No donation required to enter.
  6. All contestants agree to allow likeness to be used for promotion.
  7. DVD copies of performances are available for $7.00 by contacting the Contest and submitting entry form information.
  8. Each performer must have his/her own entry form.
    1. No more than eight (8) performers at one time/per song.
    2. No song may be over seven (7) minutes long.
    3. Performers must remain on stage during their performance.
  9. Only amateur singers will be allowed to enter.
  10. All video entries will be posted on the Contest website for public viewing and voting
  11. Winners chosen by internet vote. Performers are encouraged to promote their performance.
  12. Voting is tabulated by a total number of votes per singer (not per song). The Singer with the most votes for all songs contributed to the contest will be the Grand prize winner.
  13. The employees of neither the DeSteLuTec Foundation nor the Karaoke Provider will be able to change number of votes submitted to the videos online.
  14. Each voter will make a .99 cent contribution to the DeSteLuTec Foundation.
    1. All voters my vote as many times as they choose. Each vote will contribute a minimum of .99 cents to the Foundation.
  15. Multiple votes will not be accepted. ($ 2.97 will only buy a single vote.) Each vote must be a separate contribution.
    1. Contributions may be tax deductable. See your tax professional.
  16. Taxes on all prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner
  17. The grand prize is a recording contract with ToMack Entertainment. The prize value is set by cost of recording audio materials.
    1. ToMack Entertainment reserves the right to publish original music performed by the winner (and recorded).
    2. The recording will be produced, engineered, directed and published by professionals in their industries.
    3. Choice of final song or songs will be at the discretion ToMack Entertainment. Winner will be involved in final song choice and may provide original material for recording. If winner writes song(s) recorded, ToMack Entertainment will retain rights to publish those songs.
  18.  Except as provided by prior written consent of Company, you may not copy, download, stream capture, reproduce, duplicate, archive, upload, modify, translate, publish, broadcast, transmit, retransmit, distribute, perform, display, sell or otherwise use any Content appearing on or through the Site and/or Company Services.
  19. The winner of the Grand prize in the 2011 Singing for Kids contest will not be able to compete in the 2012 Singing for kids Karaoke contest, but should be available to perform at the 2012 award gala.
  20. The Company does not accept, via the Site or otherwise, unsolicited submissions. You must be recorded at the venue to be eligible for the Contest.
  21. Sweepstakes, contests, games and other promotions run on the Site by Company may require the User to provide some personally identifiable information such as full name, zip code, e-mail address, and phone number in order to participate. This information is used only to select and contact winners of the sweepstakes and/or contests.
  22. When users access the Site or Services, We may collect certain non-personally identifiable information about those visits. For example, in order to permit your connection to the Site, Our servers receive and record information about your computer and browser, including potentially your IP address, browser type, and other software or hardware information. If you access the Site from a mobile or other device, we may collect a unique device identifier assigned to that device or other transactional information for that device in order to serve content to it.
  23.  If we sell all or part of our business or make a sale or transfer of Our assets or are otherwise involved in a merger or transfer of all or a material part of Our business, We may transfer your information to the party or parties involved in the transaction as part of that transaction.
  24. 20. Any permits needed for a karaoke contest will be provided either by the venue or by the karaoke provider.
  25. Any copyright on the music recorded for the contest will remain copyright of its original owner.
  26. All Participants agree to abide by these rules.
  27. Any violation of these rules shall be grounds for immediate
    disqualification and forfeiture of their prize.
  28. Additional rules and eligibility requirements may be announced prior to the beginning of the contest.
  29. The contest is a family friendly contest (No foul language or questionable lyrics).
  30. All participants must choose a song from song lists provided by the karaoke provider. Each participant shall use only the equipment provided by the DJ running the show. NO outside equipment by contestant or anyone other than the DJ shall be used.
  31. Any contestant that faces the malfunction of the equipment has the option of starting over. Examples: feedback, skipping of disk, loss of microphone.
    1. This does not include the contestant bumping into the equipment causing a skip or turning off microphone while singing.
  32. Contestants MAY NOT utilize live props. This will include back-up singers, dancers or animals.
  33. Any use of onstage props must be approved by Contest staff before your performance.
  34. The First 25 registrations will be guaranteed to perform on the night they enter.
    1. After the first 25, there will be no guarantees on a performance.
    2. We will not hold places at any contests. The contest will be held on a first come-first perform basis.
    3. If for any reason a participant from the first 25 cannot perform, the 26 received registrations will perform, and so on.
  35. Contestants will not be allowed to change the song on the “Entry Form” after it has been registered.
  36. For a complete winners list, email a request to info@stelutec.org.  An official list of contest winners will be emailed back to you within 60 days of the completion of the contest.
